i forgot to write about this but I’M GOING TO SEE MUSE ON OCTOBER 12 IN HOUSTON TEXAS!!!!! my plan is to be in the front row. this is one of my top 5 life long goals, let’s make it happen people!!!

i apologize ahead of time for the ambiguity of this post; i left it ambiguous intentionally.
i don’t know why the hell i let it get to me so much. blah. this was not a problem really in the past. why am i worrying so much about it? lord knows what kind of skeletons i have in my OWN closet. so i’m not really one to be freakin out here. ive had issues in the past too…
this is annoying. i don’t like how it’s changing me.. i need to get a grip on reality, and become that confidence person i know i am inside…… wtf! it is ME after all..
in better off topic news, there are a bunch of bands coming to austin this year. a big possibility is my MOST favorite, obsession is MUSE! it’s not confirmed yet but they are doing a US tour and i’m really hoping they stop by austin. they’re going to be so close! if not i might have to fly to one of their shows, damn it. other bands include: kings of leon, incubus, death cab, franz ferdinand (no ticket damn it!!), pearl jam (meh), 311 (meh), dave matthews band (meh). what would be really cool is if MUSE headlined at ACL again…….. SIGH!!!
oh yeah, regarding my funk… i got my happyass to the gym and killed my legs today. then i tried to do a quick 3 mile run on my shaky legs, and they weren’t having it. so i had to sprint a mile and call it quits. my back was killing me the whole sprint too, which is not a good sign because i usually don’t have back pains when running/sprinting. WHAT HAPPENED TO ME ON FRIDAY?!?! i have so many hidden injuries that are popping up now. sigh.
today was a good day. i got my acl book signed by the (imo) best band of acl 2008: vampire weekend, and then i got front fence row seats to watch the great show they put on. of course there were some not so good moments like the hot sun burning my legs , and almost being knocked out during a crowd surf during manu chao + having nasty ass old woman/man sweaty body odor all over me but overall it was a great day.
mainly because somebody special in my life made it 10x more special.. :]

I must say, they are pretty damn good. But MUSE is still 10x betta =P
Also 2 bands opened with them: The Boxing Lessons (too slow for my taste) and The Whigs (better; the drummer was good and the bassist was hot, but the lead singer was kind of scary looking).
Now I can’t wait for ACL which is only a few weeks away. Can’t wait to see Vampire Weekend, MGMT, CSS, Silversun Pickups, The Racounteurs, NERD, The Fratellis, Beck, Flyleaf ETCETC. I really like last year’s line up better but I’m trying to make the best out of this year’s as well.
