bullshit.

today at work a semi-deaf lady was a bitch to me because i didn’t have a white coat on. she had what i’d like to call the white-coat syndrome. what is this? this is where customers are mean as fuck to you because they think you’re a blue collar but in secret you’re an intern that will be a white collar very soon but was just too hot to wear her white coat in the pharmacy because it was like 85 degrees in there and busy as fuck so you were running back and forth and decided not to wear it. and the minute the white coat walks by, they turn into the sweetest, perfect patient again, for the white coat only.

even worse her rx wasn’t ready because the md prescribed suspicious codeine for a young ass child and the sig was illegible, and the drug itself barely illegible so we were waiting on the doc to call back for that. why the fuck are oyu yelling at ME lady? it’s not my fucking fault.

still worse, she wanted to ring smething up with a credit card over the phone and my pharmacist wouldnt help me (..that is another story in itself) so i had to call the cashier/customer service manager over her instruction that we weren’t allowed to do credit card charges over the phone and get him to do it (this guy is the nicest person in the world), since he said we could.

after the whole fuckin bullshit was done we were takling about how rude customers were and the pharmacist didn’t think semi-deaf lady was (white coat syndrome..) and then she proceeded to tell other managers about the guy who helped me, and now he’s in trouble.

this is bullshit. when i become a staff pharmacist or pic one day i’m not fuckin filling your bullshit medications if you were mean to me as an intern/tech. you can take your happy ass elsewhere.

spoon.

i miss spooning. that is all.

wtf

it’s 3:11AM, i’m still up and this morning i woke up around 7:45AM. *sigh, working 30+ hours and taking 6 hours of classes is a tough one, i don’t recommend it for any of you pharm students out there…

oh well, october has been fun thus far, and that explains why i’m last-minuting so much and lacking on sleep. so far: ACL 2009 (despite the awesome lineup i thought 2008 was more fun..), MUSE+u2 in houston (sorry but muse definitely outplayed u2 and that was with their audio all turned down too….but then again i extremely biased as MUSE is my fave band and u2 is not even on my list of bands that i like really), TX v OU weekend/reunion with the girls… and still coming up is the dirty projectors concert, more football games, and phuong’s bday/halloween.

speaking of, i have a pretty nifty costume planned for this year. i always wait til last minute and half ass my halloween costume but this time it will be good.. muhaha. i’ll post pics perhaps.

and finally…..blah.

HERO!!!!!

got the htc hero on sprint and so far it’s badass. had to open a new phone line though to get it, sigh. so my old 832 number will slowly be phased out and replaced by a new 512 one.

sprint has really dirtcheap plans now that they have the unlimited mobile plan. right now, it’s $70/month for unlimited minutes to any cell phone, free nights and weekends and long distance, no roaming charges, unlimited txt msgs and data, and 1500 mins to land lines. and if i get 3-4 more people on my family plan then it will drop down to $38-$42 dollars per person for the same privileges!

now i gotta find 3-4 ppl to jump on my plan, lol. who wants a htc hero??

better..

i feel better now after a day off frm my 8 day straight work week in the pharmacy. don’t get me wrong, i still don’t like working with that pharmacist much. but i feel better now and i’m happy to be here in austin, tx still. shopping helped perk up my mood a little today too. <3 sephora and leather jackets… :D

my mentor and some other people told me to talk to my pharmacist manager about the other staff pharmacist and i did. i just hope i didn’t sound whiny and bitchy because i’m not. i’m a hard worker and i get along with a lot of people and i take a lot of shit. i dont think any tech ever should have to put up with that kind of treatment, especially since they could easily quit and go to another pharmacy that’s short staffed.
