houston was my home for 17 years.
but austin has been my home for the last 5 years.
now that i am back in houston i can’t truly say that i would call this ‘home’ anymore. austin is home to me now…
home includes the friends we make and the memories we cherish in the place we love most. and for the past 5 years that place has been austin for me.
there are parts about houston i still love though, especially some old friends tucked in with new ones..but i’ve grown so used to the familiarity of austin and all its ways that it is now my home. now how am i ever going to part ways with it when the time comes??
